If you want to buy the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, you can now save a lot. You can get the Bluetooth version in the color Gray Titanium pretty cheaply from Media Markt. Here you only pay 249 euros.
Samsung has already introduced a Galaxy Watch 6. There is no Pro version in the new generation of Smart Watch. For some of you, the last Pro version could still be worth it in 2024. This is especially the case if you want certain outdoor features in your Samsung ecosystem.
In addition to features such as sleep tracking, a bioelectrical impedance analysis and a cycle calendar, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro also gives you access to Route Target Workout, Track Back and Turn by Turn Navigation. These navigation functions ensure that you can plan maps in advance, navigate you to your starting point and notice changes in direction if you deviate from the path. You have to activate the track back function beforehand.
The rest of the equipment also seems to be designed for outdoor use. In our test, the large battery of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro only had to be charged after more than three days. Samsung promises up to 80 hours. The 1.36-inch display has a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels. The writing is easy to read. The casing is made of titanium and it protrudes slightly above the display. The model is also IP68 certified.

Another dealer is one euro more expensive, but they add 6.90 euros in shipping costs. Other offers start at 256.85 euros, but other retailers also offer the watch at a much higher price.
