Prepared for the new semester: The two-week course starts on Monday at 40 locations in the state.
For 1,450 Salzburg students, the new semester begins two weeks before the actual start of the semester. From August 29, students from all school levels will be taught at 40 different locations in the state. In these two weeks, the students can consolidate learning material from the past semester so that they can start the new school year without any problems. In small groups of six to fifteen participants, the students are taught primarily in the main subjects by a total of 216 teachers. Of these 216 teachers, 177 are already trained teachers with teaching experience. The remaining 39 are student teachers who can gain practical experience during the summer school. Due to the currently low number of new infections – the country reported 153 new cases on Monday – only antigen tests in suspected cases have to be carried out in the summer school.
