“The war in Ukraine crushes everything. It crushes this campaign, especially the democratic debate. This campaign must not be stolen from the French. “It is a real cry from the heart that Valérie Pécresse launched to viewers, thirty-two days before the first round of the election and which, for the moment, sees Emmanuel Macron dominating the polls (30.5% in our last rolling). And it is precisely the outgoing president who she blames first: “The state of the country is disastrous, Emmanuel Macron’s record is not good, whether in terms of authority, health or ‘economy’, contrary to its program which relies on a ‘better management of France: more freedom for businesses, more dignity through work, more order in the streets […] These are matters that take a back seat. »
In addition to the balance sheet of the outgoing president, Valérie Pécresse also took the opportunity to tackle the “pro-Russian” candidates: “There are two attitudes towards this war: the Gaullist attitude which defends the freedom of peoples, democracy and another , which is that of Mélenchon, Zemmour and Le Pen, which supports Vladimir Poutine. While I think a number of right-wing voters want the war to end. »

I propose that for gasoline, part of the additional taxes collected by the price increase be given back to the French.
