Forbes list: Despite Corona, these stars make the most money

The corona pandemic may have hit the entertainment industry hard like any other industry. But the absolute top stars from the film, TV, music and sports scene don't have to starve, as the new list of the highest paid celebrities in the world shows, which is published every year by the US magazine "Forbes". A young lady in particular is already counting as the big winner of 2020: Kylie Jenner (22). The American reality TV star and entrepreneur made 590 million dollars (around 520 million euros) thanks mainly to her successful cosmetics brand.

In doing so, she clearly put Kanye West (42), the husband of her half-sister Kim Kardashian (39), in their place. The rapper ranks second behind her, but "only" made $ 170 million (around 150 million euros). A little surprise follows in third place: According to "Forbes" by Swiss artist Roger Federer (38), he snatches the title of the highest paid athlete in the world with $ 106.3 million (around 93.5 million euros). He ends up just ahead of the soccer superstars Cristiano Ronaldo ($ 35.105 million; around 92 million euros) and Lionel Messi ($ 32.104 million; around 91.6 million euros), which complete the top five.

Germany is also well represented

Actor, director and screenwriter Tyler Perry (50) ranks sixth and earned $ 97 million. The remaining celebrities in the top 10: soccer player Neymar (28) with $ 95.5 million (around 84 million euros), US radio icon Howard Stern (66) with 90 million dollars (around 79 million euros), basketball player LeBron James (35) with $ 88.2 million (around € 78 million) and, of course, who shouldn't be missing: action star Dwayne Johnson (48, "Skyscraper") with $ 87.5 million (around 77 million euros).

Germany is also on the list, which has a total of 100 celebrities. According to "Forbes" model Heidi Klum (47) comes to $ 39.5 million (around 35 million euros), which gives her a shared 82nd place with US rapper Travis Scott (28).
