Forbes reveals the most valued esports structures in 2022

Each year, several lists and rankings of Forbes are expected on the esports side. After his list of “30 under 30” with Fabien “Neo” Devide, co-founder of Team Vitality, it’s the turn of its ranking of the most valued esports structures to be published. As usual since the creation of this ranking, North America dominates with the first five places reserved for him.

At the top, we find once again TSM, valued at $540 millioni.e. more than 510 million euros, with an increase of 32% compared to 2020. Despite the latest controversies around the structure and its leader, Andy “Reginald” Dinh, TSM continues its march forward. Behind her is 100 Thieves who rises to second place with a valuation of around 460 million dollars. The structure of Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag has grown rapidly and has even increased by 142% in just two years. Finally, in last place on the podium, it’s Team Liquid who is there with $440 million valuation.

Following the classification, we find FaZe Clanat the heart of buyout problems following a probable bankruptcy, valued at $400 million. The first European structure in this ranking is G2 Esports, sixth, valued at $340 million and just ahead of its historical rival, Fnatic, valued at $260 million. Two South Korean structures are present in this Forbes ranking with Gen.G (8th) valued at $250 million and T1 which brings up the rear with a valuation of $220 million.

All structures are much improved compared to 2020, probably thanks to the pandemic which has made it possible to broaden the audience of the discipline. In addition, the magazine explains thatthey how to diversify their sources of income in order to face the challenges and difficulties of the industry. We hope to find French structures there in a few years, such as Team Vitalitypresent on many major games, and probably the one that is best valued in France.
