Angeles Bejar, who had taken refuge since Monday in the Divina Pastora church in Motril, in the south of Spain, in order to protest against the “harassment” to which her son was subject, according to her, was evacuated on Wednesday after midday by the emergency services which took her to the hospital, announced Antonio Rodríguez, the parish priest to the press on the forecourt of the church. “I have to tell you that she had a seizure, and we had to rush her to the hospital. She is no longer there,” the priest explained, adding that Angeles Bejar was “ tired, with a lot of (health) problems, and not just anemia”.

Luis Rubiales’ mother promised to stay locked up in this church until Jenni Hermoso, the player who was surprised on the lips by her son, “tells the truth” about what happened, according to her niece Vanessa Ruiz Bejar, the cousin of Luis Rubiales. “This harassment is not fair. Her mother, who is very religious, has found refuge with God.
