(AOF) – The United Auto Workers (UAW) union said it would announce strikes at other factories on Friday due to lack of progress by then in negotiations with Ford, General Motors and Stellantis, parent company of Chrysler. Ford will also face a strike at its Canadian factories for lack of an agreement by this evening with the Unifor union representing around 5,600 Canadian workers in the sector.
