Ford: an adapter offered to access Tesla terminals

(CercleFinance.com) – Ford announced on Wednesday that it would offer North American owners of its electric vehicles an adapter free of charge, while they will have access to Tesla superchargers starting this spring.

The automaker specifies that this fast charging adapter will only be offered to owners of the Ford F-150 Lightning pickup and the Mustang Mach-E sports car.

Ford announced last year that it would open access to Tesla superchargers to its customers in the United States and Canada from 2024, before itself switching to NACS technology, Tesla’s charging standard, to from 2025.
