Ford: invests $700 million in Kentucky

(CercleFinance.com) – Ford Motor Company announces an investment of 700 million dollars in its plant in Kentucky (United States), an operation which should eventually generate some 500 jobs in the State.

“Ford has been growing in Kentucky since the days of the Model T, and we continue to invest in the state to produce great vehicles,” the automaker says.

Sensitive to this investment, the Governor of the State declared this day as a ‘KenTRUCKY Day’ especially as Ford will present this evening, at Churchill Downs (a racetrack in the city of Louisville, capital of the State), its brand new ‘F-Super Duty’ series.

‘The partnership between Kentucky and Ford goes back more than a century and continues to grow stronger,’ says Governor Andy Beshear.

“Ford’s investment is one of the largest ever in Jefferson County and will create hundreds of great jobs, including building the 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty,” said the governor.
