Ford: Retirement of supply boss


(CercleFinance.com) – Ford announced on Tuesday the retirement of the vice-president in charge of its supply chain, Jonathan Jennings, after a long career of thirty years.

The senior executive, whose departure will be effective on August 1, will be replaced by Liz Door, who will be appointed director of supply management on June 12.

She was previously head of strategic sourcing for home appliance maker Whirlpool.

The American automobile group also announced the retirement of another of its senior executives, Kiersten Robinson, the director of its branch of family vehicles and the president of its activities in Mexico and Canada.
