Games with cards, there is a lot of them lately, but some manage to find a unique formula that allows them to stand out from the crowd, such as Voice of Cards. The French studio Alkemi also wants to show its uniqueness with forest, a very narrative card game with a unique twist and art direction that immediately catches the eye. The game therefore took advantage of the MIX 10th Anniversary Showcase to unveil a very first trailer.
The cards where you are the hero
Edited by Dear Villagers, forest tell us the story of the thief Volepain, accompanied by Léo the tiger, Karst the gorilla, or even the elephant Isabeau, who will live an adventure in a world in perdition.
The game will tell us about this epic with unique cards that we will have to use with intelligence to continue the scenario, while making choices, whether in our way of approaching situations or by meeting various characters.

To bring all this to life, the game will be served by a soundtrack composed by Christophe Heralthe famous composer of Rayman Legends or Beyond Good & Evilwhile narration will be provided by the voice of Travis Willinghamwho notably voiced Thor in several games (including Marvel’s Avengers) or even Wilson Fisk in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
forest is currently scheduled for PC and Nintendo Switch for release in summer 2022.
