Forever Skies: the survival game on a toxic Earth postponed to 2023

At the beginning of the year, the young studio far from home unveiled Forever Skies, a post-apocalyptic survival game on Earth, as a toxic cloud covers the planet following an ecological disaster. A title that was to arrive in early access in 2022, but players will have to wait a little longer.

In a long statement, far from home explains that many players have already tested Forever Skies thanks to the demo on Steamhe did not expect such enthusiasm and intends to offer a maximum of content as soon as the exit in Early Accesswhich will be in the first half of 2023 on PC. Developers tease on the way the Earth, seen from under the toxic cloud, an environment which promises to be dangerous, but essential to find quality loot. The studio also wants to offer more varied locations with a procedurally generated map for each player, a damage and repair system for the flying ship, more customization options for the latter or even a more scientific approach to survival. And of course, a cooperative multiplayer mode of up to four will be launched during early access.
