After Superman, The Witcher and The Immortal, will Henry Cavill be Wolverine for a cameo in “Deadpool & Wolverine”?
From Superman to Wolverine? According to persistent rumors, Henry Cavill could play one of the variants of Wolverine, aka Hugh Jackman, in Deadpool & Wolverine. According to the site Giant Freakin Robot, the 40-year-old British actor could thus briefly join the Marvel universe.
For his arrival within the MCU, the irreverent Deadpool will indeed move from universe to universe since the TVA (Tribunal of Anachronistic Variations), from the Loki series, will be very present in Shawn Levy’s film, like us could discover it during the launch of the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer.
We therefore know that Wade Wilson will find different variants of his character, including Dogpool, but that there will also be several variants of other superheroes and mutants, including Wolverine.
When announcing his return to the role of the clawed mutant, Hugh Jackman said he would have two roles in the film. And like Deadpool, Wolverine will have other variants from parallel universes. Henry Cavill could thus embody one of the variants of the mutant. The one in the white suit jacket that we see from behind in the trailer perhaps?

Playing James Bond or Wolverine for several films therefore seems complicated given the busy schedule of the actor, who will soon play The Immortal in a new adaptation of the cult 1986 film.
On the other hand, lending his features to a variant of Wolverine for a cameo could both please fans and amuse Henry Cavill. After facing Ben Affleck (Batman v Superman) and Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible – Fallout, Henry Cavill could face Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman!
However, if the actor does indeed play a variant in Deadpool & Wolverine, there is little chance that he will also play Captain Britain for the MCU as was rumored last February…
