It is not uncommon in recent years to see new studios being created by former developers, having worked in some of the most powerful companies in the industry, the aim being to propose new licenses, perhaps with a fresher vision. Recently it is the Wildlight Entertainment studio which announced its foundation.
A new shooter from Apex Legends and Call of Duty veterans
This is made up of former developers who have notably evolved on Apex Legends, Titanfall and the Call of Duty license.. The information is scarce for the moment, but the objective is to develop a “ epic shooter “. The experience acquired within these different FPS will, of course, be a big plus and could allow the community to keep a close eye on this project.
On the official website we can read that the team is working remotely, but that the project is already in development, discreetly, since “ some time “. This may suggest a more advanced stage than the ad suggests. At any rate, the studio, named Wildlight Entertainment, explains that we will have to wait a little longer before we know moreeven if the developers are “ extremely enthusiastic for what awaits them.

We’ll know more in the coming months, but knowing that former Apex Legends, Titanfall, and Call of Duty developers are coming together to pool their shooter experience and know-how may look promising. At least on paper.
