At Le Castellet, in the Var, the stands of the Paul-Ricard circuit are full, a few hours before the start of the Grand Prix de France, which will be given this Sunday at 3 p.m. And the spectators are numerous to come to support their favorite pilots, in particular the French Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly or the Monegasque Charles Leclerc.

The start of the Formula 1 French Grand Prix will be given this Sunday afternoon and the stands of the Paul-Ricard circuit, at Le Castellet, in the Var, are already full. Monegasque Charles Leclerc will start in pole position. At home, Esteban Ocon, will start 10ᵉ, Pierre Gasly, 14ᵉ. Somewhat disappointing results for the French pilots, but not for the fans who are there.

“I will make sure to give you a smile”

At turn nine, they are 4,000 to have chosen their champion: Pierre Gasly. The French driver from Alpha Tauri has his dedicated stand and he does not hide his pleasure. “In any case, I hope you are having a great day and that you will have a great time during the race, I will make sure to give you a smile”, he announces to them, microphone in hand .

Malik is fourteen years old, he is a fan. “My favorite is really Pierre Gasly. Right after that, I’m going to buy the cap.” A little everywhere on the Paul-Ricard circuit, other caps are screwed on the head. Red for example, like Ferrari, even if the French flag is never far away. Because when spectators are asked who their favorite drivers are, French drivers are often mentioned.

The show is in any case promising for the supporters since Charles Leclerc, Monegasque and French-speaking, therefore favorite of the paddock, will start in pole position at 3 p.m. this afternoon.
