After a two-week break, Formula 1 is heading back to North America for the Canadian Grand Prix. Here you can see when and where the free practice sessions will be broadcast free of charge on TV and live stream.

- Formula 1 enters its ninth round this weekend.
- The free training sessions will take place on June 7th and 8th.
- Sky and Servus TV show the free training sessions on TV and as a live stream.
After the start in Europe, Formula 1 will make a short stopover in Canada. The training sessions at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Friday and Saturday will take place from 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively.
The teams don’t collect any points in the training sessions, but they do collect important data to set up their cars for qualifying and the race. Fans also get an idea of which team might be ahead. These test sessions are broadcast on TV in Germany on Sky Sport F1 and in Austria on Servus TV. You can watch them live in this country on Wow (formerly Sky Ticket) and in Austria on ServusTV On.

Sky holds the broadcasting rights to Formula 1 in Germany. In Austria, however, these rights are held by Servus TV and ORF, who show the races alternately. This week you can see the sessions on Servus TV. Both channels broadcast the races in Austria on free TV and also for free online. However, the live streams are protected from access from abroad by a country lock.
