(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has authorized the acquisition of joint control of NEoT Capital based in France, by Mitsui based in Japan, EDF Pulse Holding and Forsee Power, both based in France. NEoT is currently jointly controlled by EDF and Forsee Power.
The transaction mainly concerns asset management in the energy sector.
The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not raise competition concerns, given that NEoT has negligible activities in the European Economic Area and the companies are not active on the same or vertically linked markets.
