(CercleFinance.com) – The Forsee Power share gained more than 2% on Wednesday on the Paris Stock Exchange following the announcement by the industrial group of the renewal of its technological partnership with the Korean giant LG.
The expert in smart battery systems announced this morning that it will once again partner with LG Energy Solution, which will provide it with very high energy density cells.
These components are to be integrated into its ZEN high-energy range, in particular within ZEN 42, a night-charging battery system for all-electric and hybrid heavy-duty vehicles.
For the record, Forsee Power won last year a call for tenders launched by the RATP aimed at making its bus fleet more ecological in Paris and its region.
Forsee must equip 180 standard Heuliez buses with its new ZEN 42 battery systems.
Forsee batteries are produced on the Chasseneuil-du-Poitou industrial site dedicated to the manufacture of batteries for European heavy transport (road, rail and marine) which currently employs 200 people.
