First announced in 2020, as “Project Athia”, Forspoken finds itself at the heart of the video game news, while a new report has just been announced. As a reminder, the new game from Luminous Productions and Square Enix was originally supposed to arrive in May of this year. However, the development studio and the publisher had preferred to postpone its release to October 11, 2022. A date that has just changed. Players now have to wait until 2023 to get their hands on Forspoken.
It is via the game’s official Twitter account that Luminous Productions and Square Enix have just announced a new report for the title. This new official communication tells us that Forspoken must now release the January 24, 2023. According to the latest information shared, the development of the title is very advanced, but the studio in charge needs a little more time to make the final changes and polish the whole thing.

On the other hand, we should have news from Forspoken this summer. Indeed, in the last paragraph of said Twitter post, we can read the mention: “ […] we look forward to sharing more information about Forspoken with you later this summer […] “. Of course, as soon as new details about Forspoken become available, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Thus, Forspoken is now expected for January 24, 2023, on PC and PS5. Be aware that several editions are planned for Forspoken. Players who pre-ordered the game before its official release will also get bonuses.
