Forspoken will have crystallized many expectations and concerns. Launching a new license is not easy, especially when the communication balls are linked, as with the famous advertising of the game which has been repeatedly diverted or the multiple reports which have cooled more than one. Now that it’s on our doorstep, it’s time to see if the game has won over the press, who have been able to try it, at least in part. The embargo has fallen and without much surprise following mixed previews, the game does not seem to have convinced everyone.
The game is not unanimous
You had to guess, Forspoken is a divisive game that obviously didn’t leave a lasting impression on anyone who tried it. Result, the title of Square Enix displays (at the time of this writing) a Metacritic score of 66 with 38 reviews posted, compared to 68 on Open Critic, with 47 reviews listed.
