Fort Boyard: Cyril Féraud ready to replace Olivier Minne? He sets things straight

Guest of the show We redid the TV on RTL this Saturday, September 10, Cyril Féraud confided in his professional future. The host notably returned to the rumors surrounding his alleged desire to replace Olivier Minne at the presentation of Fort Boyard.

Cyril Feraud will he be Olivier Minne’s successor in Fort Boyard ? For several months, rumors have suggested that the host of Slam would covet the position of the mythical presenter of the France 2 game, who has been at the helm for more than twenty years. But this Saturday, September 10, Cyril Féraud wanted to make things clear in the show’s studio We redo the TV, on RTL. Faced with Éric Dussart and Jade, he has thus agreed to answer this question that he has already been asked “212 times” . “I explained many times that Fort Boyard is the show that made me want to do TV, it’s a show that is beyond professional for me”began the facilitator, before claiming to have a strong attachment for his colleague: “Olivier is one of the people who matter to me in life, who gave me advice, he is one of my friends (…). He’s someone I trust.”.

Cyril Féraud also assured that Olivier Minne had had “notch” when he invited him to join Fort Boyard to embody the character of Cyril Gossbo. “I know very well that we must have said to him: ‘You bring the wolf into the sheepfold. If Féraud sets foot on Fort Boyard, he will push you down the stairs‘”, he continued. But Cyril Féraud also returned to an interview given to a Belgian journalist, which caused him great harm after he agreed to answer the famous question. “I gave him the exact same answer. The journalist added: ‘But if Olivier, on his own, was tired of presenting the show and if the succession was open?’ I replied, stupid as I am: ‘In this case, obviously, I would be a candidate’“, reported the host of France 3.

Cyril Féraud: “Olivier Minne is the master of the Fort”

After this interview, Cyril Féraud discovered on social networks that he was designated as a candidate for the succession of Olivier Minne, without however specifying in what context this sentence had been pronounced. “If Olivier Minne is not an intelligent person, if he does not trust what I told him, he had enough to blow up a scandal”, he explained. And to conclude in an attempt to put an end to the rumours: “I will never say that I dream of presenting Fort Boyard and that I dream of replacing Olivier. He’s been doing this very well for years, he’s the master of the Fort. I hope it will still be on the air at the Fort for the next twenty years (…). I love it.
