Fortnite: 36 million dollars in 24 hours, Humble Bundle announces more than 9 million

This Sunday, Fortnite announced that it was launching a fundraiser in donating the profits from its free game (but filled with micro-transactions and in-game purchases) to humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Epic Games’ Battle Royale has already announced a first figure a few hours after this announcement, and reveals that it has collected $36 million for Unicef, the World Food Programme, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Direct Relief, for aid to populations in need following the war in Ukraine.

An action that works rather well therefore, and which is now associated with that from Humble Bundle, the site that generally offers to recover PC game packs at very low prices by choosing the amount donated to developers yourself.

On the occasion of this fundraiser, the site therefore announced that it was putting online a pack of 123 games and game items, with a total market value of 2336 euros, for a minimum of 36.39€. Everyone can obviously put the price they want above this minimum value, and all proceeds will be donated to four associations that help Ukraine.

Some customers have already paid several thousand dollars for this package, and within hours, Humble Bundle announces that it has already raised $9.3 million.
