Fortnite players will be able to enjoy a new collaboration, very soon. Indeed, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the launch of the first version of Pac-Man, several things suggested that the universe would invite itself into Fortnite, before it was officially confirmed. On an official publication, we learn that there will indeed be a collaboration between the two brands.
A crossover between Fortnite and Pac-Man announced
This crossover is slated to arrive in early June, the 2nd according to early details. This lines up with the eve of the end of Chapter 3 Season 2, which means Season 3 might have a few references to Pac-Man in the Battle Pass, for example.
Regarding the content of this collaboration, the Japanese site specifies that we will only have cosmetic items with the pattern of Pac-Man, and not skins with the effigy of Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man or even ghosts. We’ll know more in a few weeks, once the crossover is close to release. One thing is certain, cosmetics will be available in the shop.
As for the end of season 2, be aware that a special event should take place, which should normally highlight the battle between the IO and the Rebellion, since the two entities have fought throughout this season. Again, Epic Games will tease some things upstream.
