In recent days, Star Wars has been in the limelight for several reasons, including the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The other reason is the fact that a series centered on Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives at the end of this month of May, on Disney+, which delights lovers of the license. And it may well be that Fortnite welcomes a Darth Vader skin, precisely in connection with this series.
A Darth Vader skin in Fortnite?
In effect, the Sith Lord, formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, has been an enemy of Obi-Wan Kenobi since his time on the dark side of the Force. So, to celebrate the release of this new mini-series, Epic Games could integrate Darth Vader into the game. In any case, this is what an image emanating from the Epic Games event to present the Unreal Engine 5, its new game engine, suggests.
As various dataminers have reported, there is, among other things, mention of “Vader” (Vador’s original name) for Chapter 3 Season 3. As a result, it could be that Darth Vader is a Season 3 Battle Pass skin, which begins… on June 3, a handful of days after the launch of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. According to some, it could be the mystery skin of this season 3.

This collaboration wouldn’t be surprising, given that we’ve already had several Star Wars elements implemented in-game, including Rey and Kylo Ren skins. In fact, a few weeks ago, several rumors mentioned the return of lightsabers. Everything therefore seems to be in place for the universe created by George Lucas to be back in the battle royale of Epic Games, with, as a bonus, the arrival of one of the most famous villains in the world.
We’ll have confirmation of all of this by the time Season 3 launches in early June. However, it should be kept in mind that Epic Games may have tricked its community, for once, by leaving false clues lying around, in order to mislead us. Answer in a few weeks.
