Last week, Fortnite once again celebrated the Royal pride with patch 21.50, but now up to the flame-themed 21.51 update. Epic Games actually launches the Fire by fire weekwith the return of weapons and items perfect for burning everything on the map.

For the Week of Fire with Fire, the primitive flaming bow and the Souffleur shotgun are reborn from their ashes. In addition to these reintroductions, the firefly jars will be much easier to find. Are you more of a fire extinguisher? No worries, we have something for you: you’ll find cannons of the brave more frequently. Complete special quests to get EXP using Firefly Jars and Cannons of the Brave and rekindle the flame with the reintroduced items!
You can find flaming primitive bows and blower shotguns in floor loot and chests. (Arrows can be found in floor loot and ammo boxes.) firefly jars are available from floor loot and chests as usual, but will have a higher spawn rate. You can spend ingots to get a cannon of the brave as before, but you can also find them in floor loot and chests! At the start of Fire by Fire Week, check out the quests in the “Fire by Fire Week” category of the Quests tab.
NOTES ON COMPETITIVE MODES
Fire by Fire Week changes will not be available in Competitive Modes.
Epic Games take advantage of the release of this 21.51 update to modify purchases, cancellations, social settings, parental controls and player reporting in Fortnitehere are the changes:
NEW FEATURES FOR PURCHASE AND CANCELLATION
- Hold to buy : Fortnite now has a hold-to-purchase system. The “Cancel Purchase” and “Refund Ticket” functions remain the same.
- Extended Purchase Cancellation Window You can now void in-game cosmetic item purchases made with V-Bucks until you equip them in-game or within 24 hours of purchase, depending on what occurs first. A reminder will also be displayed if you attempt to equip a cosmetic item during the cancel window.
UPDATED SOCIAL SETTINGS, PLAYER REPORTING AND PENALTY ENFORCEMENT OPTIONS
- Additional chat privacy options : You can now choose to activate voice chat for “Everyone”, your “Friends and teammates”, “My friends” or “No one”. Parents can also choose which settings are available to the player when setting up parental controls.
- Parental control : In-game parental controls have been moved to the main lobby menu. We have also added a setting that requires the parental control code each time the child wants to send or accept a friend request.
- Default settings for players under 18 : Settings for players who have indicated that they are under 18 have been reset to the highest privacy level. By default, chat is set to ‘No one’, player profile is hidden, parties are set to ‘Invite’, and personalized recommendations are disabled. The swear word filter is also enabled for players under 16.
If your default settings have been changed, you will receive a notification and you will have the option to change your account settings if they are not locked by parental controls.
- New ways to control bad behavior : We added a ban on the use of social functions (like chatting or adding friends) to combat bad behavior.
