Fortnite FNCS duo season 1: semi-final, heats, standings and results

After the qualifiers, here comes the turn of the semi-final for this Fortnite Champion Series of season 1 of chapter 3. And this semi-final is as dense as it is complex. Three successive rounds will allow no less than 36 duos to qualify for the grand final. The step integrates de facto two qualifying methods: Victory Royale (which directly gives a ticket to the Grand Final), and regularity (the top 6 of each Heat qualify for the Grand Final).

When are the semi-final stages?

  • Friday, February 25: session 1 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday February 26: session 2 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday February 27: session 3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

How is the semi-final going?

The entire semi-final consists of 3 game sessions. Sessions 1 and 2 are each played in 5 games. Session 3 is played in 6 games. Every team that achieves a Victory Royale in any game in any session automatically advances to the Grand Finals in March. The final top 6 of each session also advances to the grand final.

Duos from Session 1 who have not qualified for the finals at the end of said session play Session 2. Duos ranked between 51st and 61st in the Series Points standings play Session 2 of the Semi-Final .

Duos from Session 2 who have not qualified for the final at the end of said session play Session 3. Duos ranked between 62nd and 72nd in the Series Points standings play Session 3 of the Semi-Final .

To these qualified in the final will finally be added the top 8 of the two qualifiers of the past week. A total of 50 duos will compete in the grand final, the weekend of March 5 and 6.
