Fortnite FNCS: shameful bug affects Solary Floki live

Epic Games is struggling to eliminate all the bugs that taint Fortnite, including in competition. Every season of FNCS, pros complain about technical issues that prevent them from playing properly, or even rob them of victory royale. Very recently, player Solary Floki was directly affected by a bug, in the middle of the Fortnite Champion Series semi-finals. A real crime for Epic Games, since the incident was broadcast live on the Solary stream in front of thousands of viewers.

Shots through the stone

In the clip, several bullets can be seen hitting Floki, as he stands behind a stone staircase. If it is understandable that the first projectile could hit the French player, then poorly concealed, it is absolutely grotesque that the following bursts hit him. The video also clearly shows that the shots do not hit the player’s avatar at all.

Such a bug can be costly in a competition of this caliber, where every ounce of shield account. Fortunately, the duo was able to keep their calm, and even managed to snag first place in Heat 3 of the semi-final regularity points (174 points). The ticket for the grand seasonal final was therefore secured by the FR duo, despite these difficult conditions. Fingers crossed that such a bug does not strike again for the grand finale, since even in single lobby, Epic Games does not trigger rematch for occasional problems like these…

Fortnite’s latest collab features tennis player Naomi Osaka. As usual, it will be possible to win the skin for free via a unique competition open to all.
