In an attempt to reinvigorate its battle royale and take advantage of the strong interest following the publication of Chapter 4, at the beginning of this month of December, the developers have relaunched the “Buddy at the top” event on Fortnite. This simply allows you to win some rewards, by playing, but under certain conditions. So that everything is clear, here is what you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Top Mates Event.
Best Buddies Rewards
A total of five cosmetic items can be obtained by playing during the event period, from December 13 to January 10, 2023:
- 50 dots → emoticon on top
- 100 dots → the Controlled Concentration coating
- 150 stitches → Visioboard glider
- 250 points → the Snikt emote! Snikt!
How do I participate in the event and score points?
To unlock these rewards, you will have to score points, playing with a friend (or more) who has not played Fortnite for more than two hours and thirty minutes (2h30) before December 12th. Anyone who had never played the battle royale before then is, of course, eligible. A portal indicating which of your friends are likely to be able to help you register points is also available.
After forming a group, whether as a duo, trio or section, all you have to do is start games and validate the few very simple challenges that will be offered, which you can follow in particular in the tab Friends at the top. Daily quests are also valid for earning points.
You have until January 10, 2023 to participate in the event and try to win these exclusive rewards.
At the same time, Fortnite players can enjoy the Winter Festival, with many gifts offered, but also some special challenges.
