As the episodes progress, the game is therefore enriched with various features, which survive their seasons if they are successful with players. The flagship feature of this season 3 of chapter 3, however, has disconcerted more than one fan – literally and figuratively – since it is ride wild boars and wolves that inhabit the island.
The idea is original to say the least, and resonates well with the “return to roots and nature” dictated by the theme of the season “Vibin”. However, she had a knack for making the Battle Royale completely crazy, for a simple and good reason: it is always possible to build from the back of a boar or a wolf. So inevitably, see buildfights of pro between two players perched on giant pigs, it’s quite funny.

The ride functionality fits perfectly with the gameplay of the Zero Build mode, which has acquired its acclaim since the previous season. On the other hand, things are a little more aesthetically spiced in “with construction” mode, especially when the pros improvise wild riders… On Twitter and Reddit, animal-riding aberrant buildfights clips abound. With this new feature, Fortnite moves a little further away from the status of TPS tryhard, and becomes more rooted in its aspect of crazy playground, where anything goes. It is well known that Epic Games is aimed more at the “casu” population than at competitors, and this feature is the perfect proof.
