Fortnite launches Chapter 3 Season 2 in no-build and donates its profits to Ukraine

Just before starting the Chapter 3 – Season 2, RebellionEpic Games’ Battle Royale has announced that it will donate for a fortnight its profits to humanitarian aid for the victims of the war in Ukraine. Fortnite will participate in the war effort in its own way until April 3, 2022, like the actions already taken by other video game companies recently. Fortnite had already announced the boycott of Russian teams in its esports competitions.

Xbox is joining us in this effort and committing its net profits to Fortnite during this time, so we can provide more help to people in Ukraine. You will find below the list of humanitarian organizations that we support

In the process, Epic launched Rebellion which will ask you to fight to free Point Zero. And for that, the famous no-build mode that we unveiled last January has arrived!

Construction is no longer possible! To protect himself, the player must now use an overshield to improve his life and his usual shield. This new element is the player’s first line of defense, taking hits before the basic shield. Luckily, it regenerates even if it drops to zero.

However, the game states that the Rebellion’s mission is to restore the buildingsbut we don’t know when the possibility will come back into play.

The game also introduces a new sprint to move faster, with a run gauge, and the ability to shoulder hit doors. Finally, another parkour element a la Dying Light 2 is added, since players will be able tot pull themselves up the walls by gripping with their hands on the edges. Armored vehicles are also making an appearance, all the new features are detailed here.

The new Battle Pass has also been unveiled and as expected, Doctor Strange will be the new star character of the season. He is accompanied by several other heroes like Tsuki 2.0, unlocked immediately with the Pass, Guinar and the Origin, finally unmasked.
