As in previous years, Fortnite will celebrate Halloween with an event Nightmares 2022Where Fortnitemares in original version. Turning into a monster isn’t the only novelty of Fortnite: Nightmares 2022. Also complete quests and get special rewards, challenge cube monsters in Zero Build Horde Assault, celebrate with reintroduced items and more. Fortnite: Nightmares 2022 lasts until November 1 at 7:00 a.m. (CET)!
Claws to make you cry wolf
After dancing to the frenetic beat of DJ Lyka’s mix, hop on one of the various alteration altars near the Reality Tree, where you will have the opportunity to perform theRitual emote. (If you’re far from the Tree of Reality, don’t worry, there are shrines elsewhere!) Once the ritual is done, you’ll get the howler claws. Use them to get wolf skills:
lupine trail
Once the howler claws are equipped, howl in order to activate the skill lupine trail for a limited time, before entering cooldown. This skill activates a sight that regularly marks enemies in a close radius. If there isn’t, Lupine Track goes straight into cooldown.
(If you’re the target of this skill, your sixth sense will warn you with a heartbeat that intensifies as the beast approaches…)
Howler claws.
Slash
By equipping howler claws, you get… claws. But they aren’t just for scratching behind your ears. Thanks to the slashing skillyou can chain together four fierce melee attacks.
Aerial slash
Your claws also allow you to slash in the air. Thanks to the aerial slash skillyou can perform a double jump that deals damage to your opponents when you hit the ground.
No buildings, lots of monsters
Horde Assault returns, but this time monsters have an advantage… This is a Zero Building Horde Assault ! Will you be able to eliminate hordes of monsters, obtain score multipliers, chain eliminations, survive in different zones and face the final boss with your teammates without relying on the safety of constructions? You’ll find out by playing Zero Build Horde Assault, available in the Discover menu long after the end of Fortnite: Nightmares (more precisely, until November 15, when the servers are unavailable due to the 22.40 update).
This is because Zero Build Horde Assault will last beyond November 1st for a limited time. After Fortnite: Nightmares ends, stay tuned for Horde Assault quests that you can complete to get a special in-game reward…
Take over your nightmares
You now know all about Horde Assault quests, but there are also Fortnite Quests: Nightmares available now! These quests will include performing the ritual at Alteration Altars, visiting nightmarish locations like Grim Gables, or using reintroduced items such as sweets and the pumpkin throwers. Complete Fortnite: Nightmares quests to earn XP and other surprises.

Two Fortnite: Nightmares quests will be available daily for 14 days. If you complete five, you will unlock the end of everything glider. If you complete 13, you will unlock the chrome Cage back accessory. Finally, if you complete 25, you will unlock the Anticreator pickaxe. The quests will be available until the end of Fortnite: Nightmares, November 1 at 7:00 a.m. (CET).

The outfits Sinister Eye and Mourning torment have been added to the Item Shop. These outfits were inspired by designs created by March Concept Royal winners: @Dreowings and @kitsunexkitsu! New in Update 22.20: Custom Diagonals for Keyboard Gestures
The “Use custom diagonals” option was added to the Mouse & Keyboard settings tab in the 22.20 update. This new setting allows you to adjust your character’s diagonal movements.
To enable this option, go to the Mouse and Keyboard tab and set the Use Custom Diagonals option to “Yes”. Then adjust “Front Diagonal Angle” and “Rear Diagonal Angle” as desired.
Notes on Competitive Modes
- With the exception of map changes, new features in Fortnite: Nightmares are not included in competitive game modes.
Major bug fixes
- Recover cards no longer sink if the player is eliminated in water.
- Players can once again see the evolution progress of their EvoChrome weapons in Competitive Modes.
- Moving the right analog stick on a gamepad no longer accidentally moves the selection in menus.
- Fixed an issue on mobile where water appeared to float above the ground.
A new enemy seems to be making a lot of headlines from his camp established in a new floor of the house of Grim Gables… If you manage to defeat him, you can obtain his mythical weapon! (You will have most likely Need a hand.)
In addition, some wild animals have disappeared during Fortnite: Nightmares… Maybe a zombified species is behind all this? Or maybe they fled in a motorized canoe, which would explain their disappearance…
Note that it is also possible to unlock content in-game by completing site challenges Escape Gameway Escape Room. Nightmares 2022 is however far from being the only news of the game today. Back Blings aren’t the only items available. find the Visceral Fork pickaxethe alien tasting utensil, and the Glider Gunship Glorzo designed to ensure glory for the Glorzos, both matched with Empress Summer. To accompany Monsieur Minion, train in hand-to-hand combat with the summoned Katana pickaxe and appear right in the middle of the action with the Minion Appearance glider.

Don’t go out without your Morty. The Mecha-Morty Outfit is back in the Item Shop along with the rest of the Morty set, C-137 :
