Whether Fortnite is basically known for its Battle Royale mode, this is another mode that came into being first, Save the world, or PvE takes precedence. Two months before the release of BR, Epic Games actually launched Save the World in early access, but ultimately shelved it in view of the growing popularity of the other game mode, although it is still supported. Unlike the Battle Royale mode, Save the world is paid, which does not allow such easy promotion. For a few days, players will be able to grab the mode for free.
Save the world free for some players
Indeed, for a few months, Epic Games has set up a subscription for Fortnite players. For the sum of €11.99, players obtain various exclusive bonuses and cosmetics each month, which therefore makes it possible to support Fortnite, which is free-to-play, while obtaining significant rewards for some. For this month of August, players can, among other things, collect the Wolverine zero outfit, in addition to the usual rewards of V-bucks and the Battle Pass. But Epic Games has just announced a little surprise, with save the world mode.
Thereby, all Fortnite Club subscribers, old and new, will have free and permanent access to the PvE survival mode. This means that even if you stop the subscription in a month or more, you can still immerse yourself in Save the World.
August Crew Bonus Pack ? New and renewing Fortnite Crew members get permanent access to Save The World, on compatible devices, this month.

Note that this mode allows you to discover a quite different experience from the Battle Royale, while offering many quests. At the time, this was a great way to farm V-bucks, but now new players no longer have access to these missions, as they are only for “Founder” members.
