The developers of the battle royale communicated, on the morning of December 9, to warn the community of the removal of one of the weapons that has generated the most comments since the start of Chapter 4, the Shockwave Hammer. For a while, it will indeed be impossible to find it on Fortnite.
Disabled Shockwave Hammer from Fortnite
If you’re wondering why you can’t find this weapon on the battlefield anymore, it’s simply because Shockwave Hammer has been disabled. It therefore no longer spawns, either in chests or directly on the ground. Epic Games clarified that this was “ due to a problem without specifying the nature of this problem.
We will see again the Shockwave Hammer in Fortnite from the next update, possibly on January 10 or 11, provided the issue has been fixed by the developers. Otherwise, you will have to wait a little longer.

In the meantime, this news will delight some, who judge that overpowering Shockwave Hammer, since it allows you to reach an opponent fairly quickly while inflicting serious damage. Epic Games could take the opportunity to apply a small nerf, to make the weapon more balanced.
