Forever in the hearts of all Fortnite veterans, the city of Tilted Towers is preparing to make a triumphant return to Battle Royale this season. If at the start of Chapter 3 players quickly realized that the locality was hidden under giant blocks of ice, we did not know until today the exact time of Tilted’s return. According to Hypex, there is a very high chance that Tilted Towers will appear on Tuesday January 18th, via patch 19.10.
The datamineur bases his theory on the data extracted as well as on the schedule of the ice melt. For Christmas, Epic Games covered almost the entire island with a thick blanket of snow. Corn the thaw is already active, with snowmelt every three days. The dataminer explains that Tilted Towers should appear “in stage 6 of the thaw”, which brings us to January 18th. Date which also corresponds to the original anniversary of the city of Tilted Towers on Fortnite! Not likely to be a mere coincidence.
Of course, this theory has yet to be taken with a grain of salt, and while it strikes us as rather plausible, Epic Games has yet to confirm anything about it. To note that said patch 19.10 could also mark a turning point in the history of the season, with the discovery, under the frost, of the underground bases of the IO, the new great villains of the game.
