Fortnite: update 19.40, server status and maintenance

Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is coming to an end, and patch 19.40 will be the penultimate in the series. Epic Games has formalized some details about the maintenance that will occur this Tuesday, March 1, from 10 a.m..

This is a routinely scheduled patch, so expect the game to be unavailable until 11 or 11:30 a.m., sometimes a little longer. The editor specifies that the maintenance and the unavailability of the servers will begin at 10 a.m., but that matchmaking will be blocked from 9:30 a.m..

What content to expect?

The data miner ShiinaBR published on social networks a list of the certain or very probable contents which will join the Battle Royale, once the maintenance is completed:

  • A new Spider-Man skin
  • A series of new weekly challenges
  • A new themed Savage week (this week featured Primitive and Mechanical Bows)
  • A return of the Revolver
  • New collaborations
  • Paradigm related quests

Of course, this list is only indicative, and Epic may very well slip a few surprises into the patch, without the dataminers being aware. We regret for the moment the absence of new elements on the lore of the season, yet so provided. Where are the advances in IO? Is there something spectacular in the offing at the end of the season?

However, it is possible that Epic Games will spare its effects for the very end of the season. At the time of writing, it is still unclear if a live event is planned to end the season in style.

More fear than harm, since the Solary tandem composed of Floki and Clement still managed to qualify for the FNCS Grand Finals, but there was enough to drive you crazy. In the middle of a Heat, the duo was indeed hit by an absolutely odious bug…
