On the way to the next season of Fortnite! While Epic Games is slowly launching its teasing machine by shelling out new images relating to the transition between seasons every day, dataminers are busy digging up information on the live event and upcoming content.
Today the leakers have unearthed two crucial elements: the end of season event will take place Saturday, June 4, and the next Chapter 3 Season 3 will start the next day, i.e. Sunday, June 5.
A slight delay on the schedule?
It is ShiinaBR who confirmed these dates via his Twitter account. And they are rather surprising, because the game’s battle pass menu always tells us that the season will end on June 3. This means that the event and the start of the next season do not really correspond with the end of the current episode of the game. Clearly, the transition between the two seasons will take about 48 hours.
Reminds you of something? The tidal wave event of course. Following the first use of the Doomsday Device, a giant wave had surrounded the island, just after the event and for a handful of days, before the start of a new season. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but for this next event too, the Doomsday Device seems to be back in service…
It vibrates on the side of the Impactor
The new locality on the island, l’Impacteur, will undoubtedly be at the heart of the end-of-season event. It is towards him that your eyes (and your ears) must turn if you wish to have information on what will happen very soon.
