There was actually not too much room for doubt for several days already, but a recent Japanese advertisement put an end to the suspense this weekend, concerning the exact skins which would be formalized via the second collab ‘between Naruto and Fortnite. Picked up Sunday morning by FortniteJPNews, the poster shows the battle bus, escorted by several characters from the manga. We can thus distinguish Itachi, Hinata, Orochimaru, and Gaara.
Characters already anticipated this week
Earlier in the week, a Japanese magazine had already associated these four characters with Fortnite. But the dataminers were not yet sure of the veracity of this pairing. This time it’s confirmed! This is very good news for all shonen fans, who had already been able to benefit, in November 2021, from a first partnership between the two licenses. The Naruto skin already exists on Fortnite, and we can legitimately assume that it will return to the store for this second crossover, called “Rivals“.
A still very mysterious crossover
We know that this new series of Naruto skins should land on Friday June 24 in our regions, but Epic Games fiercely keeps the secret as to the exact content of the collaboration. While this one is called “Rivals“, we can expect a little more than new outfits limited to the shop. Quests, creative map, in-game weapons and why not a new city could well see the light of day.
