Schönbrunn Zoo is changing its strategy and is now opting for the abolition of individual animal names. The popular tradition of the Vienna Zoo has now come to an end. The new goal is the protection of entire populations and not the display of individual animals. After all, scientific work and the protection of species is the actual task of the zoo.
