(CercleFinance.com) – Forvia (Faurecia) has finalized the sale to Cummins of part of Forvia’s commercial vehicle exhaust gas post-treatment activity in Europe and the United States. This sale concerns a total amount of 199.2 million euros.
As part of this operation, Cummins acquired two factories located in Roermond (Netherlands) and Columbus South (Indiana, United States).
‘ This transfer is part of Forvia’s strategy to focus on very low emission solutions for light vehicles, a segment where the Group is a leader, as well as its hydrogen roadmap through which the ‘the company offers a complete portfolio of hydrogen storage solutions’ indicates management.
This transaction concludes Forvia’s asset sale program for an amount of one billion euros.
