(Boursier.com) — Forward Global, a leading international player in risk management, announces the opening of exclusive negotiations with the investment fund Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC) for a minority stake.
At the end of current discussions, Bridgepoint Development Capital would become a new shareholder of Forward Global, alongside the management and its historical investors, RAISE Invest and Rives Croissance (a fund of the Banque Populaire group) who renew their confidence in the strategy development of the group by continuing their long-term commitment.

This operation would value Forward Global at more than 200 million euros. It should make it possible to strengthen the financial capacities of the group which wishes to accelerate its international development, particularly in North America and Europe.
The closing of the operation is subject to the necessary administrative authorizations, and should take place during the summer of 2024.

In less than 5 years, Forward Global has made 12 acquisitions, quadrupled its turnover and multiplied by five the number of its employees, which currently stands at 400. In 2024, the group’s turnover will exceed the 100 million euros.
In terms of international and technological development, while maintaining strong organic growth, the group has the ambition and the means to make more than 150 million euros in strategic acquisitions within two to three years.

Forward Global designs and operates services and technologies dedicated to digital and economic risks. Its services aim to reduce the risks to which managers, companies and institutions are exposed, to support their reflections and to strengthen their strategic positions.

Forward Global intervenes in contexts of high exposure for more than 1,200 clients, particularly in the management of sensitive matters (negotiations, litigation, restructuring), during growth operations, when building a strategic positioning, in controlling their risks cyber and the response to attacks targeting all critical systems in the event of a crisis or obvious hostility (fraud, major lawsuits, counterfeiting, hacking, data leaks, etc.).
