Taking advantage of its presence at Gamescom, Forza Motorsport take the opportunity to make some announcements. Among them, we learn in particular that the game will offer possibilities of cross-play but also of cross-progression on PC and on console. It will therefore be possible to continue your races on Xbox Series and Steam with your progress and shared achievements.
The racing game will also benefit from a particularly careful optimization on PC. Thus, it supports native resolutions up to 4K, including ultra-wide type resolutions during circuit games. Enough to be able to play with a much wider range of equipment than before.
Gamescom being held in Cologne, it is also an opportunity to unveil the arrival of the Nürburgring GP circuit which will be available from the launch of Forza Motorsport on October 10. Next will come the emblematic Nordschleife which will appear in the spring of 2024. Note that the two circuits have been completely reworked for the PC and the Xbox Series.
Finally, it is already possible to pre-order the title, including on Steam for the PC version. Players who have pre-ordered the Premium Edition or who have opted for the Premium Add-Ons Bundle will have access to the game 5 days in advance, i.e. October 5, 2023.
