Horrible drama in the Innviertel (Upper Austria): A confused woman (78) left the house where she lives around 4 a.m. In the afternoon she was finally found lying at the edge of the forest. The doctor could only determine death from freezing.
The woman lived with her husband in their shared house and had recently become very confused. On Wednesday evening she took sleeping pills to be able to fall asleep and went to bed. Leaving the house She left the house around 4 a.m. and didn’t show up again. At around 3:30 p.m., a visitor to a nearby nursing home made the terrible discovery. She found the woman lying next to a forest and immediately called the rescue workers. The doctor who was notified could only determine that the woman was dead. Because of the low temperatures she froze to death.
