Found in room – drugs, firecrackers: mother reports her own son (14).

Great concern about explosive discoveries in her offspring’s bedroom drove a woman straight to the nearest police station. Her son and his friend are now facing numerous complaints.

It’s not always easy to keep secrets from your parents, especially when you still live in the same household. A 14-year-old from a small community in the Krems district also had this experience. She even took him straight to the police. Because his own mother had reported him there. The woman had previously made shocking discoveries in her son’s bedroom. There she found several substances that were completely unknown to her, as well as a number of pyrotechnic objects, the danger of which the worried woman was also unable to correctly assess. Examined in the laboratory The investigators confiscated all of the objects. A first quick test showed no result, at least for the white powder. It will now be sent to a laboratory for further examination. “A rapid test only reacts to the most common substances,” the police cannot yet estimate whether it is actually a narcotic drug. The result is clearer for the 62 rockets and firecrackers collected. They all fall into categories F2 (for ages 16 and up) and F3 (only for explosives experts), so the boy shouldn’t have owned them in the first place. But he didn’t buy it, the young person asserts. A friend gave it to him. 188 banned firecrackers. So the police also rang the doorbell at the 15-year-old’s parents’ house. There the officers came across a veritable warehouse of pyrotechnics. No fewer than 188 pieces were found there, some even of the most dangerous category F4. They all have no test mark and no imprint in German. “They were therefore probably bought at the Czech border,” the police say. The two boys are now facing numerous complaints.
