Sam Bankman-Fried is ready to testify before the House Committee. The news agency reports Reuters and cites the FTX founder’s own statements: “I’m ready to testify on the 13th,” he tweeted.
The tweet follows statements by Maxine Waters yesterday, December 8, in which the chair of the House Financial Services Committee told Reuters that she was prepared to subpoena Bankman-Fried in an emergency if he did would not agree to appear before the committee in the coming week.
It is not yet clear whether SBF will attend the hearing in person or via video transmission.
