Third year of growth post-health crisis

The Fountaine Pajot Group is having an excellent 2022/23 financial year, recording a turnover of €277.3 million, a dynamic increase of 26.2%. This performance reflects, on the one hand, the increase in volumes and on the other hand, the favorable product mix, supported by the quality and breadth of its entire range.

This financial year, in the catamaran segment, activity is driven by the Elba 45, the Alegria 67 and the Aura 51 in sailing and the MY6 in motor. In the monohull segment, growth is driven by the D470, the D430 and the D530.

By destination, the Group is consolidating its international development with 82% of sales made from exports. Thus, Fountaine Pajot recorded strong momentum in Europe with 45% of sales, activity in North America represents 16% of sales and major exports 17%.

Fountaine Pajot prepares for the future

The Group is strengthening its human resources policy, based on both attractiveness and loyalty.

The Fountaine Pajot Group continues its recruitment: 75 additional people joined the workforce during the year 2022/23.

After initiating an ambitious internal training plan through its own school (more than 300 trainees expected this year), Fountaine Pajot is the winner of the France 2030 call for projects “Engineering of professional training and innovative support offers “. This project, brought together around a consortium, is part of the actions of the Fédération des Industries Nautiques for the promotion and attractiveness of professions, in order to implement innovative solutions aimed at attracting new entrants for shortage of boating professions.

Furthermore, for the 2023/24 financial year, Fountaine Pajot is committing €3.5 million in investments intended to improve the working conditions and safety of its employees, and expand Aigrefeuille’s workshop areas.

Fountaine Pajot accelerates its environmental approach

Fountaine Pajot continues its commitment to a pleasure boating industry that respects its environment. Thus, the Group will communicate its first carbon footprint on the occasion of the publication of the 2023 CSR report, a first in the French nautical industry. This is an important step in the Group’s approach to carbon neutrality by 2030.

The Fountaine Pajot Group is innovating: after the launch of the Aura 51 Smart Electric®, the Group unveiled the Astréa 42 Smart Electric® and the first Dufour equipped with the hybrid electric solution developed by the Group, the D530 Smart Electric®.

Finally, in partnership with EODev, a specialist in industrial solutions using hydrogen, Fountaine Pajot recently developed the world’s first production cruise catamaran with 100% electric propulsion, using hydrogen as an energy source. This prototype, the Samana 59 Smart Electric REXH2, demonstrates the Group’s ability to be at the heart of innovation for carbon-free pleasure.

2023/24, new year of growth

Given the quality of the onboard controls portfolio and an efficient industrial organization, the Fountaine Pajot Group continues its growth for the 2023/24 financial year.

The Group unveiled its new luxury multi yacht, the Thira 80, afloat during the last Cannes Yachting Festival. To meet the expectations of a more selective and demanding clientele, Fountaine Pajot took up the industrial challenge of building the largest catamaran cruise ship in the history of the shipyard.

In the monohull segment, Dufour presented the D41 at the last boat shows, which has already won the “Design Prize” in its category at the Genoa show and is in the running for 3 prestigious international awards (Sailboats of the year 2024 by Voile Magazine; Boats of the year 2024 by Cruising Word and nominated for the British Yachting Award).
