As part of its development, Fountaine Pajot announces that it has entrusted Chantier Naval Couach with the manufacture of its entire Motor Yacht range. Fountaine Pajot thus frees up capacity for the production of its tall ships at its La Rochelle site. The Aigrefeuille site is dedicated to mid-size sailboats and the Périgny site to Dufour monohulls. On these three sites, the Fountaine Pajot group is continuing its recruitment and training plans. Chantier Naval Couach puts its industrial excellence at the service of the production of Fountaine Pajot’s motor catamarans.
Created in 1998 under the Trawler Catamarans brand and now marketed under the Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts brand, the range currently has three models (MY4S, MY5 and MY6).
The subcontract should start in October 2022, for delivery of the first motor catamarans from November 2022.
For this ambitious and structuring contract, Fountaine Pajot has selected Chantier Naval Couach, recognized for its operational and industrial excellence, its expertise in composites and motorboats, as well as its ability to ensure the success of major shipbuilding programs. both in the civil and professional spheres.
The Chantier Naval Couach is now deploying its know-how thanks to the skills of its 250 employees and will be able to ensure the recognized manufacturing quality of Fountaine Pajot.
Fountaine Pajot and Couach will work together to set up a dedicated production line, the collaboration of their respective teams and the strengthening of industrial synergies, in order to perpetuate the ambition of irreproachable quality which drives the two shipyards. .
This unprecedented industrial collaboration between Fountaine Pajot and Chantier Naval Couach will allow Fountaine Pajot to free up capacity on its La Rochelle site for future developments and to support the growth of its activity and the extension of its Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts range.
