Five universes at Escape Game Aventure, in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine)

A stone’s throw from the Esplanade de la Défense, Nicolas Turquin created, in 2019, life-size escape games for children aged 4 to 11, in particular converting the premises of a former bank. This former director of children’s television programs, who is still an author for the Gulli channel, used his experience to design five universes spread over two sites in Puteaux: “The treasure of Barbarossa”, “The school of magic “, “Dinoland”, “Spy Mission” and “Sacred Princess” – the latter being ideal for a first foray into the world of escape games.

Even before arriving, participants received an e-mail invitation with instructions. In each room, a game master (among the sixteen actresses and actors who work here) sets the plot of the adventure. Disguised, he will take on several roles, becoming in turn an ally or an adversary. The game master adapts to everyone’s tastes, emotions and level. Depending on the universe, participants are invited to help an amnesiac princess find her tiara, pass herself off as apprentice magicians, infiltrate an apartment to steal a precious object, or recover a vial containing the DNA of a dinosaur so that it does not fall into the wrong hands. They will have to face a raptor, cast spells, wake up a narcoleptic pirate, solve puzzles, find codes, dress up in turn, cross secret passages, some filled with comforters. All in enchanting homemade decor! A joyful experience that resembles immersive theatre.

28, rue Parmentier, and 14, square Léon-Blum, in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine). Duration: 60 minutes. Price: from 90 to 210 euros, depending on the number of players (from 2 to 10 participants, some adventures are only open to a maximum of 6 children and require the compulsory presence of an adult).
