New paths for Franca Lehfeldt! The journalist gave up her TV job and founded her own agency. Christian Lindner’s wife reveals which seven-time Olympic champion she is now working with.
After retiring as “Welt” chief reporter, TV presenter Franca Lehfeldt, 34, has now become self-employed. The wife of FDP chairman Christian Lindner, 44, reveals who the first customer is in her marketing and communications agency. According to “Bunte”, the dressage rider and seven-time Olympic champion Isabell Werth, 54, has hired Lehfeldt as a consultant.

“We met through equestrian sports a few years ago,” Lehfeldt, who has been in the saddle for many years, tells the magazine. Isabell Werth expressed her interest straight away, explaining: “When I found out that Franca wanted to start her own business, one word led to another.” Franca Lehfeldt asks the right questions, Werth told “Bunte”. “She has the courage to be an entrepreneur, loves what she does and, most importantly, we have the right chemistry.”
Lehfeldt told the “Bild” newspaper about her new job with Isabell Werth that she was responsible for project management in the areas of communication, social media, press work, development of digital formats and marketing in her team.

In October of this year, Franca Lehfeldt, who has been married to Finance Minister and FDP leader Christian Lindner, 44, since last year, announced that she was taking a new career path. She gave up her job as a political journalist at the news channel “Welt” and founded her communications and marketing agency. “If you don’t jump now, you’ll never jump… this thought has been on my mind for the last few months and finally I’ve decided: I’ll jump!”, the presenter and reporter explained her decision at the time in a press release on Instagram, among others.

The Hamburg native first made a name for herself as a reporter at the private broadcaster RTL and became chief reporter for political magazines there in 2021. She also worked for “RTL News” for five years. It was only last year that she moved to the Welt channel. In 2018, she and Christian Lindner made their relationship public and the two married on June 7, 2022 on Sylt.
