PARIS, April 21 (Reuters) – Emmanuel Macron was the most convincing during the presidential debate between the two rounds, for 59% of viewers, according to a poll by the Elabe institute published on Thursday.
The outgoing president and the candidate of the National Rally clashed Wednesday during a television debate organized Wednesday evening on TF1 and France 2, four days of the second round of the presidential election.
This survey was carried out with a sample of 650 viewers, aged 18 and over, who watched the debate between the two rounds broadcast on 20 April. Viewers were interviewed at the end of the program. (Edited by Camille Raynaud)
