(Boursier.com) — The official reserve assets and other assets in foreign currencies of the French State amounted at the end of May 2022 to 237.654 billion euros ($254.599 billion) against 245.991 billion euros ($259.275 billion ) at the end of April 2022. They are down by E8.337 billion, taking into account the impact of the valuation methods at the end-of-month exchange rates.
State reserves break down as follows…
– Gold reserves: 135.429 MdsE, down 7.009 MdsE.
– Foreign currency reserves: 58.47 MdsE, down 835 ME.
– Claims on the IMF: 41.972 MdsE, down 459 ME
– Other reserve assets: 1.783 MdE, down 34 ME.
